Road of life

the road of life is a long one
full of dead ends
and obstacles, whether
they are big or small
man has to face them alone
the only way
the only right way
to ease life's difficulties
is to find someone
a kindred spirit
someone to help in troubled times
someone who will guide
thought the right passage
a friend, a helping hand
someone to grow old with
because life lived in loneliness
is no life at all
it's nothing but time spend
waiting for the angel of death
to come and collect
